Hacked — Yohoho

Pip’s tablet fried. The treasure vanished. But the crew was solid.

The crew cheered. Yohoho! they cried.

Patch grabbed the tablet. He had one move left. He typed: The skeleton screamed. The sea snapped back. Waves, wind, wood—all returned. The Queen Anne’s Revenge sank again, its red eye winking out like a bad sector. yohoho hacked

And for a while, the old ways returned. But sometimes, late at night, when the tablet’s ghostly afterimage still burned in his mind, Patch would hear it—a distant, corrupted whisper from the deep:

“yohoho… yohoho… you didn’t delete the backup…” Pip’s tablet fried

“You hacked my ledger,” the skeleton said, voice static. “Now I hack your reality.”

Patch spat over the rail. “Never again. No more hacking. No more ‘yohoho’ except from our own damn throats.” The crew cheered

Then the treasure surfaced.
