Xem Phim Memento May 2026

The gimmick — amnesia as narrative structure — could have been a trick. But it becomes the truth.

★★★★★ (but only if you watch it twice) xem phim memento

From the first frame, Nolan pulls the rug out. A Polaroid developing in reverse. A bullet sucked back into a gun. A man named Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce) staring at a photograph, his face blank as a fresh notebook. Then the color scenes roll backward, each one ending where the next begins. Black-and-white scenes roll forward. Somewhere in the middle, they meet. The gimmick — amnesia as narrative structure —

You don’t just watch Memento . You assemble it. A Polaroid developing in reverse

By the credits, you won’t remember every detail in order. That’s the point. You’ll remember the feeling: the vertigo of not knowing who to trust, even yourself.

Leonard can’t make new memories. He tattoos his body with facts ("John G. raped and murdered your wife"), polaroids with captions, and motel room numbers on napkins. Every few minutes, the world resets. He doesn’t know who to trust: Teddy (Joe Pantoliano) the cop? Natalie (Carrie-Anne Moss) the bartender? His own handwriting?
