Uninstall Magisk < 2026 Release >

Boot your phone into custom recovery mode (usually TWRP). This is done by powering off, then holding Power + Volume Up (or the key combo specific to your phone). Step 2: Once in TWRP, tap Install . Step 3: Navigate to and select the Magisk APK file (yes, the APK, not a ZIP—TWRP can read APKs as ZIPs). Step 4: TWRP will recognize the file as a Magisk installer. Swipe to confirm the flash. Step 5: You will see a menu. Choose the option that says "Uninstall Magisk" . Step 6: Wait for the script to complete. Then tap Reboot System .

Your device will now boot without root or Magisk. If you don't have a recovery and the "Complete Uninstall" fails because the stock boot image is missing, you need to manually restore the original boot image. uninstall magisk
