The map has doubled. You can now descend into the Shrieking Mines , a procedurally generated labyrinth where sound is your enemy. Step on a loose rock, and the echoes will summon the Stone Watchers. Also added: The Glowing Grotto (a safe zone... for now).

You are the last of your kind, and now the game remembers that. A new hidden “Desperation” meter tracks your interactions (or lack thereof) with other creatures. Talk to the giant spiders too long? You might start naming them. Ignore every NPC for three days? You’ll hear whispers from your dead chieftain. This system adds 15 new “delusion” buffs/debuffs.
