Log into the Steam mobile app.
Tap “Continue” → “Activate” → confirmation of game added to library. ⚠️ This method is finicky. If it fails, use Method 2 below. Method 2: Using Your Mobile Browser (Recommended) This is the most reliable way on a phone or tablet. steam app activate key
Scroll down and tap “Store” from the bottom navigation bar (if visible). If not, tap your profile picture and choose Account Details . Log into the Steam mobile app
A: This often means the key requires a different Steam account region or is a beta/test key that expired. If it fails, use Method 2 below
Open Safari (iOS) or Chrome/Firefox (Android) .
Tap your Profile Picture (top left) → Settings → Steam Store (or just scroll to find “Store”).
Paste or type your activation key. Tap “Continue” .
