Close-up: the old woman’s hands. They have the exact same wrinkles, same age spots as Grandma’s.

The Last Farewell

A vintage omnibus bus pulls up. Its headlights are soft, almost ghostly white. The door hisses open silently. No driver visible in the windshield reflection — only fog. Page 3 (Three vertical panels) Panel 1 (Hana standing, hesitant): She looks inside. The bus interior is dim, warm amber light. Passengers sit in silence — all elderly, all wearing faded clothes from different decades (1940s kimono, 1970s suit, etc.). None speak. None look at her.

A single tear. She nods. Page 8 (Final page — silent resolution) Panel 1 (Wide shot outside the bus): The omnibus drives away into the mist. Hana stands alone at the ghost crossing again. But now the rain has stopped. Dawn light breaks over the hills.

Grandma places the origami crane into Hana’s palm. Then she gently pushes Hana’s shoulder — back toward the bus seat.

Silent Drama / Supernatural Slice-of-Life

Hana notices the passenger across the aisle: an old woman in a floral apron, hands folded over a purse.

Headlights appear through the rain — distant, then closer. No engine sound is drawn, but the light grows.
