"Otis" is the second episode of the second season of the American serial drama television series Prison Break , and the 24th episode overall. Written by series creator Paul Scheuring and directed by Bobby Roth, the episode originally aired on Fox on August 28, 2006. Plot summary The episode picks up immediately after the previous episode, "Manhunt," with the eight escaped convicts—Michael Scofield, Lincoln Burrows, Fernando Sucre, Benjamin "C-Note" Franklin, Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell, David "Tweener" Apolskis, John Abruzzi, and Charles "Haywire" Patoshik—scattered across rural Illinois.

: Injured and bleeding, Michael forces Lincoln to continue driving toward the small town of Oswego, where they plan to retrieve a medical kit from a storage locker Michael had pre-arranged. Their plan is disrupted when a local farmer, Otis Wright (played by Anthony Starke), discovers them hiding in his barn. Rather than turn them in, Otis—a former paramedic—agrees to help treat Michael's wound. Meanwhile, U.S. Marshal Alexander Mahone, using advanced psychological profiling, begins to anticipate Michael’s tactical decisions, noting his reliance on maps, timing, and pre-planned caches.
