What is a NAS Swage Standoff? A NAS (National Aerospace Standard) Swage Standoff is a threaded or unthreaded fastener designed to be permanently installed into a metal chassis or PCB. Unlike loose hardware, it "swages" (deforms) into the host material, creating a solid, flush-mount spacer that won’t spin or pull out.
