Written by Diablo Cody ( Juno ) and directed by Karyn Kusama ( Girlfight ), the film follows Needy Lesnicky (Amanda Seyfried), a bookish teen, and her dangerously charismatic best friend, Jennifer Check (Megan Fox), a wannabe rock-star muse. After a satanic sacrifice gone wrong (a local indie band tries to use Jennifer as a virgin offering to sell their music—big mistake), Jennifer becomes a demonic, man-eating succubus. Needy must then stop her former best friend’s bloody rampage through their small town of Devil’s Kettle.
