1. What is a Hioki Battery Tester? Unlike a standard multimeter that only measures voltage, a Hioki battery tester uses AC 4-terminal (4-wire) method to measure the Internal Resistance (mΩ) and Voltage (V) of a battery simultaneously. This is the standard for lead-acid batteries (UPS, data centers, substations) and lithium-ion batteries (EVs, power tools).
