Imagined PS2 GoW III plot:

Kratos lays siege to Olympus, but Zeus is ready. Using the power of the Olympians, Zeus tricks Kratos into draining his godly might into the Blade of Olympus. Kratos falls from Gaia, plunging into the River Styx — stripped of power but too angry to die.

But in this imagined PS2 finale , there is no mercy. Kratos kills Zeus with his bare hands. Greece floods, collapses, and fades into darkness. Kratos sits alone in the ruins — victorious, empty, and cursed to live. god of war 3 ps2

He fights his way through the Underworld again, aided by the ghost of Athena (who warns him that destroying Zeus will destroy all of Greece). Kratos doesn’t care. He battles through Hades’ domain, regains his magic and weapons, and reemerges to climb Olympus once more.

At the end of God of War II , Kratos uses the power of the Titans to storm Mount Olympus. He rides the Titan Gaia, seeking revenge against Zeus for betraying him.

Athena appears, disgusted, revealing she wanted Kratos to take Zeus’s place as the new god of order. Kratos refuses, impales himself with the Blade of Olympus — releasing “Hope” to mankind — and finally, maybe, dies. But in this imagined PS2 finale , there is no mercy
