"Look at that," Miguel whispered. "The torque specs for the cylinder head... 60Nm + 90 degrees. It’s all there."

Miguel eyed the plastic case. "Version 3.41? That’s old."

He navigated to a folder on the CD labeled 'CRACK'. He copied a file, pasted it into the program directory, and overwrote the original executable. He double-clicked the icon.

"I don't have money for your video games, Tosco," Miguel grumbled, turning back to his desk.

Miguel hesitated. Downloading a crack went against every professional bone in his body, but the thought of turning away another customer because he couldn't reset a service light was gnawing at him.
