[upd] | Autocad Import Kml

AutoCAD chugged for a moment, then revealed its handiwork. The lodge polygon was a shattered mess of zigzags. The hiking trails had turned into straight-line chords that cut across mountain contours instead of following them. One trail plunged straight through the lake. The helipad wasn't a circle; it was a lumpy octagon that looked like a stop sign melted in the sun.

She used the classic method: MAPIMPORT . She selected the KML, crossed her fingers, and hit 'OK.' autocad import kml

Then, she tried the import again, but this time she used and chose the KML as a source. A dialog box appeared—a wise, wrinkled old wizard compared to the brute force of before. She told AutoCAD to use the current geographic coordinate system. She told it to interpret lines as polylines and polygons as closed boundaries. She double-clicked the file. Google Earth booted up, and the screen filled with a dazzling tangle of neon-yellow lines snaking across a green valley. Trails looped around a lake. A purple polygon marked the lodge. A red circle sat on a flat ridge—the helipad. It looked beautiful. It looked simple. It was a lie. One trail plunged straight through the lake

Lena’s desk was a disaster zone. Coffee rings circled a cold mug, sticky notes clung to her monitor like digital barnacles, and in the center of it all sat a blinking cursor in AutoCAD Civil 3D. She was a land surveyor, and she had a problem.

  1. I’ve downloaded odin3.12.3 and nowhere i look can i find PDA. my list says (BL, AP, CP, CSC) and the program says (New Model: Download BL+AP+CP+CSC). I’ve been trying to follow these steps you have but it feels like I’m jumping through hoops which should otherwise be a simple straight forward procedure.
