First Khutbah الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ، وَنَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شُرُورِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَا، مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللَّهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ، وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ. Yā ayyuhā n-nāsu-ttaqū rabbakumu lladhī khalaqakum min nafsin wāḥidatin wa khalaqa minhā zawjahā wa baththa minhumā rijālan kathīran wa nisā’an wa-ttaqū-llāha lladhī tasā’alūna bihī wal-arḥām, inna-llāha kāna ‘alaykum raqībā.

Fear Allah, O servants of Allah. Know that this world is a temporary provision, but the Hereafter is the eternal home. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Two blessings which many people waste: health and free time.” Be content and grateful, not neglectful and regretful.
