There is a monologue in the film where Kaali talks about the jungle, the animals, and survival. It is pure Tarantino-esque writing delivered with Shroff’s booming voice and tired eyes. He doesn't speak much Tamil? It doesn't matter. He feels the part. He is the lion who has lost his throne, and you can’t take your eyes off him. This is not a film for kids or the faint-hearted.
